    This is one of my all-time favorite summertime desserts. It looks and tastes absolutely fabulous. I made it after I had made strawberry, raspberry and boysenberry sorbets with berries from my garden. With sorbets on hand, it was a cinch to put this together. Since I was taking dessert to a dinner party in the neighborhood I made everything in advance and left it in the freezer until time for dessert,put them on a tray and headed back to the party. I didn’t make the big tart but made 6 4-inch tarts instead and used a small cookie scoop to make the sorbet balls. A small melon baller would work too. It was the hit of the evening.
