Succotash salad with buttermilk avocado dressing from Better Homes and Gardens Magazine, June 2013 (page 122)

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Can substitute feta cheese for blue cheese.

This was a great idea but turned out either too bland or too blue-cheesy, depending on what was on your fork. The blue cheese was just really wrong here - it turned the salad into yet another Cobb salad rather than the Southern-heritage succotash tribute that it should be. If I make it again, I'll use a cheese that compliments the corn & limas better (that's what succotash is all about anyway!). Cheddar is the one that comes to mind right now, but I'm sure there are other great options. I'll also ramp up the flavors in the dressing a bit (which is a great base for a creamy dressing)
