Grapefruit marmalade from Annabel-Langbein.com by Annabel Langbein

  • grapefruits
  • whiskey
  • sugar

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Note: New Zealand grapefruit are also known as poor man's orange, goldfruit, and (in South Africa) sunfruit. They grow in colder climates than real grapefruit and make excellent marmalade. They are harvested in winter and early spring.
