Yogurt cake with pear and dark chocolate from Food52

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I make this often as it's a favorite of my husband's. Yesterday I decided to use caramel chips instead of chocolate. Husband loves it and thinks it's even better than with the chocolate. I agree!

Just made this again and noticed the recipe says it makes a 9" loaf cake, but the body of the recipe says to butter an 8" loaf pan. You should definitely use a 9" pan.

This is a delicious cake. I've made it with bosc pears, Bartletts, and anjou pears. All 3 work.It keeps well, but good luck with that! It disappears quickly in our house.

Made this again with Bosc pears, Greek yogurt, chocolate discs from Nuts to You and reduced sugar by 25%, still excellent as usual.

Very, very good. I used bartlett pears and vanilla non-fat yogurt.
