    Exceptionally delicious. More than the sum of the its parts, like so many Marcella Hazan recipes. Agree with the other comment about needing more broth; I used a little over 4 cups.

    You need about 2 hours end to end, but this cooks away at the back of the stove top so a low maintenance soup if you are kicking around the house. For us it was too close to risotto consistency with the proposed 3 cups of stock. I would go with 4 or even 5 cups or liquid. Quite nice though.
