    Soooo… neither of us has ever actually had a patty melt before but I thought I could turn 2 “not our favourite store bought thin burgers lingering in the freezer” into something better..so came here to get the idea. We both agree that the burgers, slicked with mustard and layered with cooked onions & cheese (Kraft slices for us) between slices of rye and cooked like a grilled cheese are delicious! So next up will be Chrissy Tieghan’s version - very excited to try them!
