    I always like the combination of soy and butter and this rendition didn’t disappoint. The technique for the chicken results in a tender umami bite. The cabbage also comes out a bit silky with a touch of smoke from the saute and the large amount of scallion gives it just a little sharpness. Lovely textures and a great flavour. I went with 1.5 x the recipe and it served six with rice.
