Can substitute chicken, beef, or seafood for pork; and chow mein noodles for cooked rice.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Very good. I made the chop suey with leftover roasted chicken. I had cooked jasmine rice in my freezer and just thawed/ recooked it in my microwave oven. I used all of the suggested vegetables but thought it might be bland so added a tablespoon of fresh grated ginger. That really improved the overall flavor. Easy to prep and stir-fry in my wok. So good husband and I think it’s worth repeating. This is another Joy recipe for leftovers that works well.
