    Hearty & Healthy comfort food. I debated whether to make this lentil and chorizo soup recipe or the one from the ATK Mediterranean Cookbook. I decided on Joy of Cooking because it has essentially the same ingredients as ATK and not so many steps. It would be interesting to compare the two finished products side by side. I like that the Joy of Cooking recipe started with sautéing vegetables, then adding lentils and then water. Makes a huge pot -8+servings. Made the soup yesterday and had it for dinner tonight. Served with a warmed French baguette.
