Can substitute rosemary sprigs for thyme sprigs.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

With that name - and cognac and creme de banane on hand - I had to try this. I did not have Amaro Alpino, so I tried 2 substitutes: Amaro Nonino, and Zirbenz stone pine liqueur. Honestly, the amount of amaro is quite small and I could not tell the drinks apart. This drink lived up to the description of sitting in an alpine lodge, pulling a banana from your ski jacket, but the taste wasn't something I enjoyed very much.
