    This is an amazing cake! Best buttercream frosting I've ever made - and you don't have to pour a hot syrup into the mixer (which I've never been able to do successfully). I served this at the end of a 6 course meal, and everyone (6 people) had 2 pieces (which was half the cake). Simply wonderful. I've thought about baking it in a square shape, but my husband won't let me mess with the recipe. Don't tell people the ingredient list -- or quantities! Just serve it to them.
