Braised cod with "sliced tomato" sauce and fresh oregano from Radically Simple: Brilliant Flavors with Breathtaking Ease: 275 Inspiring Recipes from Award-Winning Chef Rozanne Gold by Rozanne Gold

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Like the reviewer below, I subbed pollock and used hydroponic tomatoes from the greenmarket. Had a pound of fish and reduced the other ingredients accordingly. I really loved this dish, and would make it again even though the kids didn't like the tomatoes (they did like the fish with the sauce scraped off). Next time serve with crusty bread for mopping up the sauce. I think Pomi would work also in the absence of good fresh tomatoes.

Just made this tonight with my fish share pollack and small ripe Campari tomatoes and it tasted like summer in December! What a great, easy recipe for any thicker white fish--cod, hake, etc. Recipe suggested adding two handfuls of mussels; I added 8 littlenecks instead which added a richness to the sauce. Really, a perfect recipe. Next time we'll make it for company!
