Lime yogurt cake with blackberry sauce from Smitten Kitchen by Deb Perelman

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

This cake was easy to make and tasted great. I made 2 smaller cakes and they baked in about 30 minutes. I found it a little too sweet so will slightly reduce sugar next time. I used Balkan yogurt thinned with a bit of milk. I made the blackberry sauce with berries from the allotment garden (frozen). I figured it should be slightly sour to complement the sweet cake; I wasn’t happy with my sauce. Not sure why, it should have been great but perhaps I overdid it in the food processor. Had a slightly bitter aftertaste to me although my friends all liked it fine. This cake also froze perfectly. Will def make again, and try a few adjustments on the sauce.

This is a great cake - incredibly quick to prepare, great texture and delicious. My partner loved it too and it was quickly destroyed in our household.
