  • Everyone loved these muffins. The recipe made eighteen muffins in my older, standard sized muffin tins. They were delicious--as the author said, they were on the sweeter side.

  • I make this delicious recipe often. It's very healthy and a family favorite.

  • This dish sat alongside more complex and time-consuming brunch dishes, and it was the winner. It's very easy and quite delicious, and can be eaten by people with some types of food restrictions (low-carb, vegetarian, gluten-free). It works great in a buffet.

  • My family LOVED this soup!

  • This is a WONDERFUL recipe! My family loved the spanakopitas. My husband, who is never very exuberant, said that they were excellent. When asked to rate them on a scale of one to ten--he said TEN! This was my first time in 25 years of cooking for the man that my food ever received a perfect ten! Whoo hoo! Thanks, Ina!

  • Absolutely delicious. It's a little different from restaurant dishes that I've tried, because the restaurants usually pound out the breast and lightly bread it before it is sauteed. Everyone raved about this recipe, made exactly as specified.

  • I'd give this recipe six stars if it were possible. My family couldn't believe that I made this at home. It tasted authentic, yet had much less fat than a traditional saag paneer.

  • Phenomenal recipe! My family loved this risotto dish. It tastes far richer and creamier than one would guess from the amount of added fat. The ingredients blended very well. I made the recipe as written, and wouldn't change a thing. It was very easy to make, and would be a good dish for company.

  • This recipe turned out to be delicious!!! The reason I gave it four stars rather than five is that I wouldn't label it quick and easy. I needed to pull out the food processor and dirty a skillet and several bowls. Though the dish itself was fairly easy to pull together, the cleanup was more than I expected for a "quick and easy" dish.

  • This was the kind of simple, rustic meal that made me imagine I was at a bistro somewhere near the Mediterannean. I made it just as written. The spicing made the vegetables sing!

  • This recipe was easy, healthy, and delicious. I made it as written. I used hot tap water to soften the noodles, but they came out a little hard. I will use boiling water next time. My family enjoyed the meal, and I'll be sure to make it again.

  • We enjoyed this recipe. It has an earthy, wintry taste that would make a great side dish. I made it as written, and found it a bit lacking as a main dish. Next time I would add a lot more cheese and perhaps more spice. A little bland for our family. It was popular at a pot luck I attended. Excellent recipe, but not we good as others in this book. Repeated on June 19, 2014. I enjoyed this as a main dish, but would serve again with a substantial soup or salad. My daughter suggested the addition of crumbled sausage if you weren't concerned about making a vegetarian dish.

  • This recipe was flavorful, but everyone in my family agreed that the texture was a bit off-putting. It was quite soft, and would benefit from some added crunch. I think it would serve as an excellent quiche filling, or would do well with an added bread crumb topping.

  • Wonderful recipe! The outside of the bread was very dark after baking for the recommended amount of time. I was afraid that the bread would be dry, but it was rich and moist and delicious.

  • Delicious. I had to cook the chicken for much longer than stated in the recipe. I ended up braising the chicken on the stovetop for at least fifteen minutes after roasting it in the oven for the stated half hour.

  • We all enjoyed this minestrone. The recipe worked well as written. It is heavy on tomato, and my personal preference is for a clearer broth.

  • Very easy and delicious!

  • I made this delicious recipe for a potluck, and received rave reviews and several requests for this recipe. It is unusual and tasty, with a bit of a kick from the Harissa. I will definitely make this again!

  • This is the best chicken soup recipe I've ever used. I made the soup exactly as written. Delicious!

  • I made these for a friend that just came out of the hospital. They were beautiful and absolutely delicious. I saved a few for myself!

  • I received this book in the mail yesterday, and dove into it right away. I made the chickpea stew (made with saffron, yogurt, and garlic). It was the most delicious recipe that I've made in a long time. The sauce tasted decadently rich and creamy. I could have licked the bowl! The book itself is beautiful. I'm so glad that I bought it!
