I'm a thirty-something with a dominant creative side. I have a weakness for beautiful things rooted in history and culture, so my cookbook collection reflects it. I love beautiful modern cookbooks with varying cultural influences, and I collect retro and antique cookbooks as much for the design as for the sense of place in old recipes.
Cooking is one domain in which I'm fearless, and I love that. I prefer the 'jump in head first' approach to cooking something new because I love the challenge of a steep learning curve!
I think fresh produce is as magical as chocolate cookies and small farms are worth fighting for.
