Best GF loaf I've ever made. Has structure and holds together like "real" bread, can be sliced thin for sandwiches. Truly amazing in a bread with no eggs. This bread rises nicely, but the second time I made it I subbed Expandex for the tapioca flour and it rose even higher. Only change I would make is to add a little more salt.

Very flavorful and refreshing. An excellent choice for any meal that needs a little spark.

Delicious with a mix of chard and mustard. Recipe isn't enough for three people, at least at our house.

This recipe has several unindexed variations: kasha varnishkes, kasha with fried onions, kasha with toasted walnuts and scallions. I made the latter, using yellow onions instead of scallions--delicious.

Fine texture, easy to slice thin, great flavor. Makes great grilled cheese sandwiches. Directions omit adding the yeast, but you can figure it out.

This is great on a salad of jicama and oranges.

If you have a kid with one or more of the commonest food allergies (peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, soy, gluten, fish, shellfish and sesame), and you don't have much time for cooking, this book is for you. The recipes are basic and fast and kid-friendly. If you have adult tastes or more complicated allergies, or if you enjoy cooking, it's probably not for you.

Yes, tasty. A favorite in our house for years now. Once I didn't have red onion and made it with yellow ones--it was much better! Now I always use yellow.

She says it's very delicately flavored and she's right--I couldn't taste any seasonings.
