  • So unexpectedly delicious! All the salsa ingredients work together brilliantly. For our taste, next time we will cook the tuna slightly less (a minute on each side as opposed to the minute and a half advocated) but wouldn’t change a thing with the accompaniment.

  • Such a delicious recipe! The peppers can be made in advance which makes for very easy serving. Once the pork chops are resting, deglaze the pan with a small splash of water and then add the peppers to warm through in the meat juices.

  • I can genuinely say that I will never, ever, ever buy supermarket pitta again. This recipe is simple and the results are amazing. For our oven (a beast) 3:30 cooking time produces perfect results.

  • There is no denying that if you make all the different toppings this dish requires a bit of effort. It’s not a quick midweek supper. But it’s absolutely delicious and well worth a bit of extra work for an indulgent Saturday night. The only stage we skip is the watercress pesto, preferring a strew of watercress leaves instead (adds another texture to the dish).

  • This is a fantastic winter warmer. It’s well worth doing the initial cook of the oxtail a good few days in advance as it will sit quite happily in the fridge getting more and more flavoursome. We do this first stage in the slow cooker, leaving it on low for 8 hours or overnight, and therefore reduce the amount of wine down to 500ml.

  • Absolutely delicious! All the ingredients come together brilliantly. Don’t be tempted to skimp on the garnishes - part of the joy of this is the combination of the sweet mash, rich butter and zing of the spring onions, mint and chilli.

  • Love this recipe. I prepare the dough and the filling in advance and chill, then assemble and cook at the same time as the rice is steaming.

  • Gorgeous recipe! Spicy but not too spicy and perfectly balanced flavours. Yum!

  • Delicious combination of ingredients. The texture of this particular batter was a little denser than Yorkshire puddings I’ve made in the past but that worked well and it still had decent rise not to mention wonderful flavour.

  • A really good, quick meal for midweek. Last time I made it, I didn’t have enough sausages so I added some plain mincemeat along with chilli flakes, paprika, fennel seeds and dried rosemary to spice it. The result was delicious!

  • A simple and tasty recipe that happens to work really nicely as a filling for wraps.

  • Stirring some cooked gnocchi through the finished sauce acts as a perfect accompaniment! Delicious! Next time I make it, am tempted to throw in a small handful of shredded tarragon to add a slightly fresh note. But lovely just as it is.

  • Fabulous recipe - the method worked like a charm and resulted in the perfect weeknight supper dish. Used Parmesan instead of Pecorino and still tasted amazing, although added a good pinch of salt as recommended.

  • Use a mix of brown and white crab meat for additional flavour and richness.

  • Wonderful recipe. Chicken, with leftover sauce poured over, freezes well and makes lovely sandwich or wrap filling.
