Madeleine Kamman


Madeleine Kamman was born in Paris and started her culinary career in 1940 at her aunt’s restaurant in the Touraine region of France. She moved to America with her husband in 1960. A revered culinary instructor since 1962, she opened her own cooking school in 1971 and a restaurant in Boston in 1975. She is the author of 7 cookbooks, including: Dinner Against the Clock and the recently revised The New Making of a Cook.
