Biography

Gretta Anna was one of Australia’s most highly respected and loved cookery teachers of the 1960s, 70’s and 80’s. She was the owner and principal of the Gretta Anna School of Cooking in Sydney. Over 32 years she taught many thousands of women to cook glamorous food in the quickest, easiest and most self-confident manner. She had entree to many of the three-star restaurants of Europe, which she visited regularly. There she developed ideas as the bases of all her recipes, each one an original, not to be found in other cookbooks. She died in 2010.
