Biography
After graduating from Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, a passion for pâtisserie lured Rachel Khoo to Paris, where she obtained a pastry diploma from Le Cordon Bleu.
She travelled the world, working on culinary projects for clients large and small and hosting cooking workshops in locations as far-flung as London, Paris, Milan, Sydney and Buenos Aires, while also developing her career as a food writer. This led to number-one bestseller The Little Paris Kitchen, which was published by Penguin in 2012 and translated into fourteen languages. The accompanying BBC2 TV series turned Rachel into a household name, not just in the UK but in many other countries. She has presented several subsequent cookery series for BBC WW, and regularly writes recipes for range of publications, as well as consulting for hotels, restaurants and blue-chip clients. Her popular website, Khoollect, is an online community of lifestyle inspiration, with a newly opened creative studio.
