Biography

Holly Ricciardi is a burned-out graphic designer-turned-pastry chef. Her Dutch-German roots instilled in her a devotion to great pie from a young age, and she opened Magpie in September 2012. Magpie has been featured in Daily Candy, Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Philadelphia Magazine, Where Magazine, Zagat, Yahoo, and Thrillist, among others. She lives in Philadelphia. Miriam Harris is a food writer and editor. She has collaborated on Indulge, by RHONJ star Kathy Wakile, The Latin Road Home, by Jose Garces, and wrote The Bob's Red Mill Cookbook. She lives in New Jersey.
