The December issues of Australian Gourmet and Traveller and Donna Hay haven't appeared on the list of magazines yet. They have been in newsagents for ages. Is Feast the only Australian magazine being listed?

We have had some problems with our Australian indexers - two have dropped out at short notice and unfortunately each of them indexed one of those magazines.  We are trying to find more indexers so if any members think they would be suitable candidates, please contact us at [email protected].  You have to have a good culinary knowledge (not an issue for EYB members we think), attention to detail and commit to indexing at least one book or magazine a week.

Happy to report that we've found a new Australian indexer who subscribes to both Donna Hay and Gourmet Traveller, so she'll be covering both of those magazines' current issues as they appear from now on, as well as working through the backissues as time and availability permit.  The current Donna Hay (#66 Dec 2012/Jan 2013) has already been indexed, and the Dec 2012 Gourmet Traveller is in the works and should  be up on EYB soon.  Delicious Magazine (Aus) continues to be indexed on a regular basis by one of our other long-time indexers, and we're working through those backissues as well.  Thanks for your patience!

Good to see the magazines now being listed soon after they appear in newsagents. I can now put them on my bookshelf before I lose track of them. Thank you.

Just a reminder to members: If you subscribe to a magazine in real life, you can also "subscribe" to it on EYB.  Follow the instructions for How do I add a Magazine to my Bookshelf?, which explains how to add the entire magazine to your Bookshelf so that new issues will automatically go onto your Bookshelf as they are indexed.

This must be a problem that occurs at this time of the year. Australian gourmet and traveller September, October, and November issues have not appeared in the library yet.

Yes, I'm afraid this indexer has also moved on and we are trying to find another one to do these magazines.  If any of our Australian readers would like to make some money doing some indexing for us, please email Deborah, our Data Manager.
