Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Stuffed eggplant with lamb and pine nuts

    • jbny on December 07, 2023

      recipe is in Ottolenghi's Jerusalem

  • Smokin' sweet chicken wings with cherry barbecue glaze

    • Breadcrumbs on September 08, 2013

These wings sounded outstanding and while they were really yummy, there are other wing recipes that we much prefer. I had good quality sour cherry preserves and had hoped that the cherry flavour would be more prominent than it was in the finished dish. Good but not great so I won’t repeat this one. • Bison steaks with fig-balsamic sauce

    • Acarroll on August 02, 2024

Bison was chewy, not sure why because I think I cooked it properly. But the sauce was absolutely delicious. Used cranberry balsamic instead of fig because that's what I had.
