Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Crunchy wasabi salmon with lime

    • Frogcake on December 26, 2017

This was quite good thanks to the notes on the BA site. I marinated the salmon with mayo lemon sauce seasoned with lime peel, salt, pepper and olive oil. (note: my limes delivered decent zest but barely a dribble of juice so I substituted it with lemon). About half of the wasabi crumble was pressed onto the fillets. Served with buttered and parsleyed brown basmati and a tossed salad. The wasabi loses its nip once heated but the flavour was pleasant and enjoyed by all.

  • Almond praline cake with mascarpone frosting and chocolate bark
