Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Char-grilled eggplant salad

    • mcvl on September 02, 2011

1 September 2011 Perfect for me, too lemony for my husband -- next time I'll serve lemon wedges on the side.

  • Lentil and bulgur patties

    • robm on December 21, 2010

Also makes a vegan good filling for stuffed peppers, cabbage, etc.

  • Collard green soup

    • mcvl on February 09, 2015

Super-easy, very pleasant. I served it with a side dish of sweet pickles.

    • mcvl on February 09, 2015

Oh, and I forgotb to say, I served it with a gigantic pat of butter atop each bowl of soup/stew, which I highly recommend.

  • Lamb with celeriac

    • amraub on January 10, 2012

Scaled recipe in half. Used same dish to cook throughout to avoid dirtying additional pans. Sauce probably didn't need the flour mixture to thicken.
