      This was a huge hit at the office brunch. After the initial soaking it carried very well to the office where I added the last of the cream, eggs and cheeses. Everyone said to hang on to this for future encores.

      Great company brunch dish as it is made ahead and refrigerated overnight (or longer). Made exactly as written and it is a hit.

      The cookies taste fine but are rather plain. However, these were the most frustrating cookies to make. The dough is very sticky and desperately clings to the parchment paper unless a lot of flour is used. In addition, the total resting time is very high.
