Can we edit bookmark titles?   Go to last post Go to last unread

Sorry, I'm sure this info appears somewhere on the site but I've been unable to find it.  I'd like to edit my bookmark titles (eg. 2015 - To Try .... so many recipes, so little time I now need to amend to 2016 - To Try!). TIA.

As far as I know, it's not yet possible to edit the names of Bookmarks. Because it's also not possible to tag a group of recipes or books and add a Bookmark to them en masse, the workaround is fairly cumbersome if you want to change a Bookmark with many recipes/books.  You have to tag each recipe/book individually with the new Bookmark, then delete the old Bookmark entirely.


Off-topic, but just noticed that the Indexed Books odometer quietly turned past 6000 over the holidays. Dang, missed my chance to get out of the car and run around it once or twice...

Apologies for the delay in my reply. The editing of Bookmarks is a new feature that will be available in a new version of the site that will be released in the next few weeks. We have been working for some time on responsive design on the site which means that the full features are available on any device.

So how do you do it (edit bookmark titles)? I can't figure out how! Can it be done from my iPad?

Apologies, the Bookmark edit feature was squeezed out of that release. We do still plan to get it done this year.

Good to know that is coming - I would really like to be able to edit bookmark names and bulk add/move.
