I am wondering about the best way to search for recipes using the Instant Pot, assuming that there isn't a category choice (?) For example, I selected "pork" and then typed in "Instant Pot." I got a list of 22 recipes that have "Instant Pot" in the title. I am thinking that maybe there are more recipes available, without "Instant Pot" in the title, so they do not come up in my list?

If you use the instant pot for the pressure cooking function, perhaps search by pressure cooker?

I'm afraid we did not add cooking method or appliances as one of the category tags when we set up indexing on EYB. So you cannot search by Instant Pot or pressure cooker as a recipe tag. If you enter either of those in the search terms box you will see recipes if the method appears in the recipe title or the book title. That is how vickster was able to see 22 Instant Pot pork recipes. There are 805 recipes in the EYB Library that have Instant Pot in the recipe title or are from books with Instant Pot in the title.

A suggestion is to set up your own Instant Pot bookmark and add it to any recipes you come across that are designed for that appliance.

@jane - Yes - sorry I wasn't clear I mean to say search for books or recipes with pressure cooker in the title.

If you still can't find what you're after, I find that looking in the stews and one pot meals dish type helpful for finding things to cook in my slow cooker, should also work for a pressure cooker.

I set up my own bookmarks for pressure cooking, both recipes and books. I have set up other bookmarks for rice cooker recipes, cast iron cooking, freezer cooking, and more. They are amazingly useful to have. When I find a recipe I like out in the internet wilderness I make sure I add the appropriate personal bookmarks at the time I index it (thanks EYB for having that option!).

In the official, I'm kinda OCD category, I have a breadmaker that I use quite a lot, and I have a recipe bookmark for "Breadmaker-All in Machine" to break out those recipes that can be made beginning to end in the breadmaker, not just for the mixing and kneading parts. I have gone through my indexed bread cookbooks and added that bookmark as appropriate. Sounds crazy, but when I want bread, and my life is whackadoodle I need a no fuss option.

I really like how bookmarks can be used to refine search results to fit my personal needs and style of cooking  - it makes EYB just that more useful to me.
