I know it's probably my personal mania, but the lack of a photo next to  a book on my personal library list drives me crazy.  If I take a shot of the cover is there a method to send it to the site and have it put in the corresponding book listing?

lsgourmet, email me a link to the Book listing in the EYB Library along with a scan or straight-on photo of the cover, and I'll be happy to upload your photo. Double-check first that your book's ISBN matches the ISBN that we have listed for that title in the Library (either the ISBN-10 or ISBN-13, depending on the age of your book; both are listed in the EYB Book Details). Of course! Send your book's cover image to me -- [email protected] -- after making sure your book's ISBN matches the ISBN in the EYB Library the photo needs to be associated with.

I will also work on this after I have completed adding all my books. I also have to figure out how to add books with different ISBN numbers than the versions shown.

Hi MarciK - if you own a different ISBN than the one you see listed in the EYB Library, first check it isn't a linked book, therefore "hidden". Click the links icon and you will see a list of linked books. Click the ISBN of the one you own and you can add your edition from the book details page.

Another way to find editions you cannot see is to import the ISBN number in Import Books, accessed from the My Bookshelf tab (this feature is only available to Premium members). When you import the ISBN, if the book is already in the Library, it gets added to your Bookshelf. If the book is not in the Library, we try to retrieve the data from Amazon. The book goes into the Library and onto your Bookshelf. If Amazon doesn't have the book listed then we cannot add it at this time. We do hope to add a feature that will allow members to add their own books.
