1) Forum search

So that I know whether I'm posting a redundant thread. :)

2) Request to be Indexed via form instead of email

This is something which is probably on your list for releasing before leaving beta... if it isn't I would recommend it. You should be able to prioritize the list for indexing based on number of requests per ISBN.

3) Lower priced versions for customers making more of their data available.

I'm sure cookbook publishers would love to know who owns what. Let people take surveys and such, and pay a lower cost while you sell the anonymous marketing data.

Thanks for all your suggestions - we really welcome feedback from members.

1) Forum search is on our to-do list.

2) When you click on Request to Index we do get an automatic request that then is compiled into our indexing chart.  The email is really superfluous (don't feel you need to send it) and is going to be removed in our new search which will go live in mid August.  The Request to Index button will also grey-out so you know you have already requested that book.

3) It is possible that we may sell aggregated data to publishers in the future (never identifying any individual members) but we are not at that scale yet.  As I'm sure you can imagine it costs a lot more than a lifetime membership just to index one book and our indexing list is thousands of books long.  We are indexing cookbooks from Australia, New Zealand and the UK and Ireland as well as the USA and Canada so the membership fees are a contribution to those costs.  Certainly we are not in a position at the moment to offer any discounts and given the size of our indexing task, I'm not sure we ever will.

I do hope you enjoy your membership - any questions please post them here or email us at [email protected].
