Searching Notes?   Go to last post Go to last unread

Is it possible to search within notes? I am using notes to record memorable recipes (with the page numbers) for books that are not indexed yet, but it seems that unless I can remember where each recipe was, I cannot find them using the search engine.

Thanks!

Sorry, I don't have the answer but hoping there is a way. I am challenging myself to actually cook from my cookbooks and thinking of using the note feature to make my comments and would like to be able to track my cooking somehow. Haven't researched this yet but would be great to have everything in one place...

Sorry, you cannot currently search Notes but it is a feature we will consider adding in the future.

@nancyinpink:  You may not realize that you can review all the notes you've made on books and recipes from your profile page (click on your member name in the upper right hand corner to get there).  On the green bar, you can view your books (the default), but also magazines, blogs, and Notes. You still have to scroll through them rather than search, but it's a lot handier than raw searching.

You can also do the same thing for any other member.  Breadcrumbs may be the member most eager for searchable notes, given that she's made hundreds of them!
