The reason that mangoes are coming up is because words entered into the search box are word searches, so they look through the recipe name, the book title, the author name and the ingredients list for any occurence of that word - because we include variations of ingredient names, and one of the variations of amchoor is 'mango powder' it's listing all occurences of mangoes. This is how most recipe searches across the internet work, (most probably don't have variations lists), but because we index every ingredient we are able to go a lot deeper and get more precise results.
Usually we tell people to select the ingredient from the ingredients filter - so if you're looking for chicken dishes and you don't want chicken stock, chicken mushrooms etc to list, then go to Ingredients/Meal & Poultry/Chicken. However in this case there isn't an ingredient filter for amchoor - we haven't listed all 24,000 ingredients in the filters.
To exclude mangoes from your search I would suggest you:
Enter into the search box amchoor -mangoes for this search result - though this will also exclude any recipes with 'mango powder' as an ingredient, but gives you the best result.
You could also then do a search with "mango powder" (using quotes) to check if you do have any recipes that use this name.
Thanks for responding Cati, but in the EYB Library, because there are so many recipes, it will show all the ones with amchoor in the title first, but it does actually list the recipes with mangoes as well. So not as many as 295 onlines, I'm afraid. Though you will find 18 good ones with this search:

Hope this helps.
