Hello,

I am living in the Netherlands and thinking of putting some of my cookbooks up for sale.  I collect mostly English language cookbooks which can sometimes be difficult to get in the Netherlands.  So I frequently by books that I haven't actually been able to look at.  I almost never buy a cookbook without checking the recipes, ingredients, reviews etc.  It has been a great resource for me as I can be much more specific in my buying. 

So would this be an unwelcomed use of the site? 

I'm not really sure what you are asking here. We aren't set up for members to sell books through EYB.  Or are you asking whether you could link to the EYB recipe index from your own listings of the books you are selling?  We have no problem with anyone linking to EYB.  If I have misunderstood, please clarify.

We are very happy to hear that you make use of EYB yourself before deciding whether to buy a book.  Please always link to Amazon from our Buy Book links.  We get a small percentage (of anything you buy, not just a cookbook) as affiliate revenue, which goes towards indexing more cookbooks.

  Sorry I wasn't entirely clear in my post.  When I listed a book to sell  I wanted to include a link to the recipe index.  Some of the books and authors would probably be unknown to most people.  Nick Malgieri's "How to Bake" as an example.  Also it helps to know how much time you  are going to have to invest in tracking down ingredients.  I just thought that it would be nice for the people thinking of buying a book.
