Apologies for the delay in replying to this post. Yes, the programmer who set up the memberships couldn't spell and we will correct it at some point, probably when we revise our membership and payments process.
The Path: p you see at the bottom of your post is the HTML path for the text you are entering. Our developer Zac said "I guess it’s a ‘feature’ of the rich text box component used by YAF [the Forum developers], but as we have HTML editing turned off its not terribly useful. Possibly it could be removed but it’s probably more hassle than its worth." So as long as it doesn't bother anyone we will leave it there for now.
