I've bought some smoked chicken, do I have to cook it and if so can anyone recommend the best way?

Thanks

I haven't bought it but I've made it and for mine, the smoking process also cooked the chicken.  I can't really imagine you could buy anything smoked that wasn't also cooked by the smoking process.

You don't have to cook it. I like it cubed in a waldorf-type salad, or sliced in sandwiches or anywhere else you'd use coldcuts, but it also adds good flavour to things like chicken pies, in place of bacon or ham. The skin usually looks nice and appetising but actually is rubbery and doesn't taste too good, so I'd peel it off.

Thanks everyone. It was obvious when I opened it up it was just working out what I was going to cook with it and how long it might take.
