kaliedra, Wow. that's weird. I see what you mean - searching for kohlrabi brings up recipes for turnips as well.
Good thing is, you can use kohlrabi in most recipes that call for turnips (some people call kohlrabi a cabbage turnip - basically translating the name from German). Aim for recipes that call for baby turnips, Japanese turnips or white turnips to get the closest flavor profile and cooking time, as once peeled, kohlrabi are nice and tender, and can even be eaten raw.
I grow my own kohlrabi, and mine are still little so I haven't been looking for recipes yet. Thanks for finding this now, so I'm not confused in the next month or so when I have dozens of kohlrabi to cook. :)
