In case you didn't know about it you can make a list on ereaderiq.com of Kindle books you want and it will notify you by email when the price drops.  Very handy for my cookbook wishlist.

If you have to use Kindle Australia, don't bother checking. It is $19.99.

Two of the Great British Bake Off books are on sale at Amazon.ca for about $4. The kindle editions are usually about $17 I think. I got the perfect cakes and bakes book and it looks very nice; it contains some of the technical bakes from the show and some of the recipes from the contestants. The index is linked to the recipes which makes the book easier to use. I think they're on sale at Amazon.com as well.

Great book to download today from Amazon if you are in the UK.  One of today's Daily Deals at 99p is Take One Tin by Lola Milne.

It's a very recent book and most of the recipes use standard tinned pulses, beans. tomatoes, sardines etc and store cupboard ingredients. I've already seen lots of recipes I could cook now. Just right for present times. Lovely illustrations too.
