Hi,

I just noticed that one of my books, "Cucina Ebraica" by Joyce Goldstein, is only categorized under "Italy."  It should also be under "Jewish."  Is there a way that I can correct that?

Unfortunately at the moment we can only have one ethnicity.  But as part of our EYB Library expansion, which our developers are currently working on, we will be expanding various categories so they can have multiple entries.  When that is complete, we will be adding the second/third categories as required.

Hi there, noticed a problem with a (not yet indexed) book classified as vegan. There are many vegan recipes in it, but it's actually a macrobiotic book and has recipes for fish and chicken dishes.

Details: ISBN:1580081819 - startTitleNourish: Sustenance For Body And SoulendTitle

Thanks!

Thanks for alerting us to that error Zoe.  I've corrected it now but it won't be up until tomorrow as the site data updates nightly.

AND that's an important element about this book.  It is about the important contribution to Italian food via the ghetto.

I will have to request indexing!

Perhaps for the time being, "Cucina Ebraica" could be switched to the Jewish category rather than Italian.  Ebraica related to "Hebraic", or Jewish.  The title is actually Italian for "Jewish cuisine."  Joyce Goldstein did a series of three books about Jewish cooking in the Mediterranean, and this is one of the series.

Done - both editions are now Jewish in ethnicity (or will be tonight when the data updates).  I own this book myself so I will be very happy if lots of members index request it.  Contrary to what some people may think, I'm not just indexing my own cookbook collection!
