Using the juice from canned pineapples   Go to last post Go to last unread

I saved the juice from a can of crushed pineapples and would like to use it somehow (without using the actual pineapple). Do you have any recipe suggestions? I have some recipes for sorbet that use pineapple juice, but I'm not quite ready for cold treats just yet.

If you wanted to make a sourdough starter, you could use some of it in that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't drink alcohol, but I did think about just drinking it as juice.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already let another sourdough starter that I had die because I just kept feeding it but not using it.


I've decided to use it as a marinade/glaze for boneless skinless chicken breasts. We'll see how it works out.
