Hello!

I don't know if this has been requested or not, but if it has, I apologize for the repetition in advance.  A feature that I would love to see is the books on my shelf showing up when I search EYB for a book.  As of right now, I have to check both lists as I enter my books just to make sure I haven't already added a book to my shelf.  It would be so great not to have to search both.

Thanks for all your hard work on the site! I really love it and am glad I got the lifetime membership!

Hello, Bonnie.  There are two ways you can make sure you don't add a book again.  Firstly when you search the EYB Library it does not show you books that you have added to your Bookshelf.  So you could not add the identical book again.  But it may show different editions of a book you have already added.  So if you want to make sure you don't add a different version of a book you already have, then searching in EYB & My Bookshelf will show you all books and the ones you have already added will have the BK icon next to them.  If by mistake you added an identical book a second time, it wouldn't register as you can only have a book once on your Bookshelf.

No, don't post books here that you would like to be added to the EYB Library and so to your Bookshelf.  We are currently working on expanding the EYB Library to over 100,000 books, so most members should then find their books listed.  If they don't there will be a way of requesting that their books are added to the Library.  This feature should go live within the next 4-6 weeks.

There isn't yet a wishlist feature though that is likely to be added in the future.
