We live in one location because of my husband's work but spend a lot of time "at home" in our home country so some of my favorite cookbooks are in both locations (when I can find a cheap enough copy in a resale store or online to buy an extra) and I sometimes have a hard time remembering if I already have a spare when I come across one.  I would love the option of being able to add two (or more) locations to a book so I can remember where I have what.

Many thanks,

Stacy

That feature is on our to-do list.  It's not a high priority as we have a lot of improvements that more members have asked for, but it will happen enevtually.  One short-term solution is to enter different editions of the same book (if there are more than one) in different locations.  If the book is indexed then the recipes will be available in both locations.

Excellent!  Thanks, Jane.  BTW, you and Fiona are brilliant!  I became a life time member from the first time I opened your website. I don't have as many cookbooks as you do, but I often found myself with every Jamie Oliver book, for instance, out on the counter top, trying to figure out WHICH BOOK THAT RECIPE I WANT TO MAKE is in.  You have made my life easier and I know I will get more use out of my books now. Thank you! Thank you!  Thank you!

Thank you so much Stacy - posts like yours make all the late nights worthwhile.  And we would love to quote you.  Or you could do a piece for our featured member on the Community page.  Email me at [email protected] and I will send you the spec.  This applies to any EYB member who would like to be featured.

Back to your locations issue.  Thinking about it again I realized that the new version of the site will allow you to do what you want.  Locations, along with favorites, do laters and menus, are going to become bookmarks and you can add as many of them as you want to each book.  So you would set up each location then tag the same book twice with the different locations.  You can't do this in the current site as there can only be one location per book but the new site (up in less than two weeks, fingers crossed) will let you.
