I have a number of Instagramers I follow who regularly post recipes on the their feed. Is it possible to link to them here under Recipes? Examples being Absolute Taste (@absolutetastefood) and Dimitri Bechez (@dimitibechez) with Bechez posting his recipes in French, English and either Italian or Spanish. Both Instagramers put the text of the recipes up as images rather than text. They do not appear to publish text-only versions on the web.

I save a TON of recipes on Instagram. For the ones that don't have a link, I add them to my Paprika app with a picture from the post and then copy and paste all of the ingredients and directions and add their @ so I know where it came from.

I would think if you want to add them on here, you will probably have to do something similar.

You can add recipes on Instagram to EYB, using the Bookmarklet (explained here in Help). Only a few have been added to the Library so far. I tried to test the two you mentioned ThePatheticBaker but couldn't find any recipes to import despite going back several months. Please do let us know if you have any issue importing them.

That's weird because for Dimitri Bechez because one was added to his Instagram feed four hours ago (from this reply) and one added a day earlier. The recipes are part of the multiple images with the first a shot of the finished patisserie, then two for the French text (as images), followed by two for the English, and finally two for Spanish(?) version. And one from three days ago also includes two images containing the recipe in Italian. The recipe is not in the text of the post nor the comments.

How would you add a photo from Instagram to EYB if it is a video? Should I screenshot a picture from the video and upload it? Thanks!

Unfortunately you cannot upload photos on this page ( we will get that feature added). So Nikki, who checks over all the imported recipes, will have to do the screenshot from Instagram and add it. If you wanted to be very helpful to her, you could email her the image.

Sounds great, thank you!
