Acarroll’s recent question about getting rid of her physical copies of books that are on ckbk prompted me to ask this similar question. To this point I have either had physical books or kindle books. The kindle books I marked with a bookmark, “kindle.” Physical books have no bookmark.

If I want to subscribe to ckbk, those 800+ books will now come with the bookmark, “ckbk.” Some of the ckbk books I also own the physical copy and I want to have that denoted in my EYB inventory. Is there a way to add a “physical” bookmark to MANY books at a time so that I will now have all three types of books marked either physical, kindle or ckbk (or two types if appropriate)? I don’t want to bookmark all of my physical books individually!

Thoughts for other solutions?

You will see at the top of your Bookshelf a link under the green search bar saying 'Add multiple bookmarks'. Click that and 3 options appear - Add (for adding a bookmark or bookmarks to all the books you checked/ticked the selection box), Select All (to check/tick all 25 books on this page) and Clear (to clear all your selections). You can exclude the Kindle or ckbk books using the Exclude option on the bookmarks filter. But of course you will still need to select which books you want to add the Physical bookmark to.

Thanks Jane. Yes, I found that option just after I made this post. Still, I'll only be able to add the "physical" bookmark to ~25 books at a time?

Yes, adding multiples is done by page, which contains 25 books.
