I always do this one and it turns out moist (the oil and the water give that extra moisture) and delicious with Valrhona or Amedei Cocoa.

This is a simple and intensely chocolatey recipe with an unexpected ingredient: hot water! It may seem unusual for a cake, but it adds extra moisture. Cocoa powder tends to dry out batters, so using hot water ensures a soft and moist texture. The result is a wonderfully fluffy chocolate cake. This cake stays fresh for several days if stored in an airtight container. It also freezes well, so you can always have a delicious cake on hand for whenever a craving strikes!
