It looks like I've landed in a brand new forum.  I'm in the free trial period and was looking around the site, and stumbled in here.

I sure hope other come along soon.

Love this site and happy to see the forum! Have almost half of my cookbooks loaded and the site is already proving quite helpful in searching for recipes. Looking forward to sharing info with other subscribers.

I love this site too!  I'm slowly adding my cookbooks, I have so many this will take a lot of time.  What a great concept - I find myself using my cookbooks more than ever, instead of heading to recipe websites because it's quicket. 

I just joined today. I am so excited. I only own a few cookbooks (about 25) as I am pretty new to the cooking world. It makes me feel good to know that over half of the ones I own have already been indexed! I am looking forward to being able to add my own recipes so I can keep everything in one place. I can add all the recipes from the cooking shows I watch, magazine articles and my great-grandma's specialties. Awesome! I also saw a mention for an iPhone app. I will be getting an iPhone soon, so that would be great!

Welcome, ltorbert.  We are glad you have found that a lot of your cookbooks have been indexed - that's more than 6,000 recipes you can now search through in seconds.  And we are adding newly indexed books every day.  We will be adding lots of new features to the website in the coming months - if there is ever anything you wish EYB did for you, please just email us or post it here in Give us your feedback.

I just found this site tonight too and am in the free trial.  I have hundreds of cookbooks in my collection so this is a godsend for me.  Of course the first book I looked for you did not have, but the next three I have in my collection here and as time permits me to be here I will be adding many more.  I love cookbooks and cooking magazines and collect lots.  Love to read, but I find I'm reading my cookbooks and cooking magazines more than my mysteries.

Welcome Lindainak to EYB.  We will be soon be greatly expanding the EYB Library and part of that feature will allow you to add any cookbook to the Library.
