Hello fellow eat your bookers.

A few years ago I came across a lovely book about a young woman who took up the offer from some friends and became the cook on their yachting trip. I loved it so much I passed it on to a friend and she went and lost it in a move. (Perhaps there's a forum here dealing with that situation!!)

I can't remember the name of it, or who the author was, after all these years, but would dearly love to track it down. It had some great recipes in it, quite basic ones she managed to cook on the boat but all very tasty. it wasn't a cookbook as such, more a memior of the trip, with the recipes thrown in.

Can anyone help? I wish I could say I was about to do the same thing.

I did read a book about a guy who became a chef on a boat - Mediterranean Summer.  It doesn't sound like the same book but it was a good read,

It might help Karen if you say which country you are from as it may narrow down the options (unless you buy books from overseas of course!).

Thanks Jane, I'm from Australia and the book might have been Australian or English. Sure it was not American. Here's hoping!
