I'm hoping someone can help me with a search.  I'm looking for recipes using fresh figs.  When I search using the term "figs" I get recipes calling for "dried figs" as well.  Is there a way to eliminate the word "dried"? Or another way to go about this? TIA.

Sure thing!  There are two ways to eliminate dried figs from a search result: (1) Search 'figs' in the Search box, then in the Filter By menu (on the right side of the screen), select Ingredient>Fruit>Dried>Figs, then deselect "Dried figs" by clicking on the circled green + so it turns into a circled red x.  (2) Enter into the search box: figs -'dried figs'.  Both searches should eliminate any recipes that have the ingredient 'dried figs' listed in the Ingredients field.

Haha, Breadcrumbs, can't help you there! But I'm sure you can narrow down your search results further by adding in some recipe/dish types, ethnicities, other ingredients, etc., to find recipes that match what you'd like to do with those fresh figs... and now you've got me wanting something figgy!
