I have been absolutely entranced by Breadcrumbs' notes on recipes from Polpo the past few days. I finally had to pore over the recipe list for it in the EYB library and finally ended up adding it to my Amazon wish list. I'm afraid this isn't 't the first time that reading the notes flying by all day every has prompted me to either seek out and purchase yet another intriguing cookbook or at least to add it to my wish list for later. I have discovered so many older cookbooks that I might have passed right by in a bookstore this way. Am I the only one who is hooked by the notes and inspired to buy a cookbook?

I can't remember if I have bought a book because of a Note I spotted but I have definitely ended up cooking recipes because I was intrigued by the Note a member left.  A few lines about why the recipe was worth making is worth so much more to me than a rating grade - though those are good too.

I have had the book at home for quite some time, but have not cooked from it yet. Now after reading Breadcrumbs' notes I need to start cooking from it ASAP. Thank you for sharing!
