Hi


I am trying to use the bookmarklet feature.  As I understand it, I have tried to drag the add the bookmarklet icon up to favorites.  It doesn't work. and  has a red circle with a line through it.


It says to install.  I think I might not know how to do the actual install.  It's more involved than the drag that up???

Can you send us a screenshot of what you see when you try to drag the Bookmarklet onto your favorites toolbar? Also let us know which device and browser you are using? Our email is [email protected].

Maybe some of the problem is my lack of tech savey with some things.  I don't know how to take a screenshot.  I'm on Windows 10 and microsoft edge.


Does that help?

I am having the same problem with Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge.

The reason you're experiencing a problem with Microsoft Edge is because this browser doesn't support Bookmarklets. There are some hacks that people have found, but they didn't work for me and I read that the one I was trying stopped working after the release last November. Someone else may have come up with another way round it, but really unless you're very technical I wouldn't attempt it.


I did have a Bookmarklet working in Edge - but that's only because my Favorites bar was imported from my Chrome settings. If you want to use the Bookmarklet - and even if you don't - I would suggest moving over to Chrome.

This is one of the reasons I really like this site.  You respond to questions in a timely manner.  I'm going to head on over to 'tell us what you think obout the new design.'  Personally I think you are getting way too slammed.


I can't even begin to think of the time put in this site to make it work as it does.

msinfam...I don't think the crew here is "getting slammed".  We ALL appreciate the tons of work (and money) that goes into improving this site which we all love.  The responses by and large are constructive criticism.  Any rollout is fraught with small errors on different machines.  Please don't hold back on mentioning something that may effect only you....or perhaps hundreds of others.  Jane and Fiona are excellent marketers with a top-notch tech staff...and I think they have very tough skin.
