Is there a way to delete magazines I no longer subscribe to, without losing the indexing for those magazines I still have.

Also, is there a way to delet individual recipes, added from "online recipes" that I know I wont use again.

thanks

Hi bohfive,

Yes, you can do both those things. First, to unsubscribe from future issues of a magazine, click on one of them on your Bookshelf and then click "remove" where it says "subscribed" beneath the cover photo. If you do not see the option to remove a subscription, you are already unsubscribed from that magazine on EYB.

The above instruction only applies to future issues. If any issues are already on your Bookshelf that you want to delete, you will need to remove them individiually from your Bookshelf. To remove individual issues, click the checkmark that indicates an issue is on your Bookshelf. You can do this from an individual magazine's index page, directly beneath the title. Once you click on the check mark, it will revert to the blue +Bookshelf button indicating that it is no longer on your Bookshelf.

Removing issues can also be done from the Magazines tab of your Bookshelf where you can view multiple magazines at a time. If you remove issues this way, they will disapear from the page after you click on the check mark to remove them:

Removing an individual online recipe is much the same as removing a magazine -- just click on the check mark on the Recipe Details Page directly beneath the recipe title. This can only be done for online recipes that are not a part of a magazine or cookbook on your Bookshelf. But any online recipe added by you individually, no matter what the source, can be deleted from your shelf.

Thanks so much Christine - particularly re online recipes that I've tried but don't want to repeat.
Off to do some decluttering. :-)
